Russia–Africa Forum Participants Address Prospects for the Continent

Roscongress Foundation CEO Alexander Stuglev spoke about the timeliness of the Russia—Africa Economic Forum and its impact on the development of trade and economic and social relations between the countries.

The World Economic Forum presents its annual report (Global Competitiveness Report 2018) where the WEF experts analyze global, regional, and national economies with the aim of identifying key factors that affect productivity. The analysis is done using a new tool for assessing national economic productivity — Global Competitiveness Index 4.0.

Social, economic, cultural and political processes in Latin America in the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the most relevant trends in the energy sector of the region, are analyzed in the study by the Roscongress Foundation.

The rating developed by the Institute for Complex Strategic Studies (ICSS) makes it possible to assess the effectiveness of the functioning of the agro-industrial complex in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, to determine the leading entities and to reveal the scale of imbalances in the development of agriculture in the country as a whole.
